Slow Starts

Sundays are for slow starts. They're almost like a love letter to yourself if you let them be.

For me, Sunday mornings are for snuggling in bed with a pot of tea, chattering about the week that's just been and how we can spend the day. They're about an easy breakfast and reading before beginning the day.

They're about being present and enjoying the little moments, the way the light plays with the curtains and the way sheets feel.

What if we could bring some of that Sunday magic into the other 6 mornings of the week?

What would that do for your mood? How might it make you feel about waking up with your alarm?

This month, I'm setting myself the challenge of waking up just a little bit earlier each day so my day can start more slowly, more intentionally. So far I'm enjoying it. I'm enjoying the quiet time that it brings. The time for reflection, the time to journal rather than leaving it until later so it never gets done.

I'm enjoying the solitude of the morning and then heading back up with cups of tea to sneak in an extra moment or two with Al before heading to work. It feels like a treat rather than a chore.

I wonder how you'll spend your mornings this month? Let me know what your plans are, I love to hear them. If you need some inspiration, my free ebook Setting Your Day up for Success is all about beautiful mornings and making them perfect for you.

With love,

Beth x
